Google Pro Kit is a Big Scam

Posted by Alan Liew | 1:25 PM

Firstly, Google Pro Kit program has nothing to do with Google. The owner of this money making program just name it to make it interesting. The Google Pro Kit also called Internet Income Pro Kit.

I signed up to promote Google Pro Kit program few days ago through a quality affiliate network called PepPerJam affiliate Network. The Google Pro Kit affiliate program is very attractive. It has become one of the top performers in PepPerJam which means a lot of web publishers and bloggers have joined it , promoted it widely on the Internet and made good money with it. The web publishers will get paid $22 for each qualified lead generated for Google Pro Kit.

Getting a qualified lead from Google Pro Kit is pretty simple. Any US or Canada visitor who fill out their personal details in the Google Pro Kit lead page and pay $3.88 to have the free Google Pro Kit mail to them will be counted as a qualified lead. With this easy action, the web publishers will earn $22.

So, What's the problem?

Firstly they don't send the kit. A lot of people have complained about this. Secondly, they will charge you $72.21 after seven day and you will probably not aware of it. This is the terrible part.

When you sign up for the free kit to mail to your address, you will also be entered into a free seven days trial membership which will charge $72.21 to your credit card after 7 days. The visitors have complained that nothing about the $72.21 membership fee was mentioned during the sign up process.

But in the Google Pro Kit sign up page, they do placed a 'Term & Conditions' link at the bottom. The Term & Conditions page has loads of content and in a section of the content, they do have described about the $72.21 membership fee and clearly stated that it is not refundable after charged.

So, this is how they trick people. You wouldn't know exactly what you are actually signing up for unless only if you click the Term & Conditions link that 'hide' at the bottom of the sign up page and carefully read it.

As they are paying so well to the web publishers. Many publishers have widely promoted it, so stay away if you see this Google Pro Kit offer on the Internet.

The owner of Google Pro Kit is very clever, he has made the web publishers thought that it is a legit program that they can promote to make money. So many has joined it. Me as a blogger has also joined and promoted this program for two days. I placed a Google pro kit ad on this blog for the past two days. But, after I find out the truth about this program few hours ago, I removed the Google Pro Kit ad completely on this blog.

But, a bad news to me is that I have generated two leads for Google Pro Kit in past two days, earning me $44. I have no idea who has signed up through the ad on this blog. If you are the one, please call 1-888-657-8585 immediately to cancel the $72.21 membership they have entered for you. Hope you come back to visit my blog and read this post.

I can pay you back the shipping if you request for. I can even pay you the $22 commission I have earned as a apology for promoting a problem program to you. But, please send some proofs to me when you like to claim the money.

Google Pro Kit affiliate program no doubt is a great program for web publishers to make money online. I think I can make over one thousand dollar monthly if I continue to promote Google Pro Kit on this blog. But, unfortunately, it is a scam.

Luckily I managed to find out the truth about this program after two days I promoted it and save me from becoming a blogger that put people into a big scam program.

Man, you are a trustworthy human being whom I had ever come in contact with through the internet.

Though this is my first visit to your blog but I have to let you know that I'm convinced with the kind of personal dignity you have.

I advice you keep it up and the reward with be thousands fold at the long run.

Thank you so much for posting your honest feedback. The "As Seen on" and the affiliation w/Google gives this solicitation a sense of legitimacy. Just because it was "seen on" doesn't mean it was a positive endorsement--it could have been an expose.

Unfortunately during this time of economic recession, with so many of us facing financial ruin, we will no doubt see more and more vultures taking advantage of our desperation.

Before signing up for anything, especially if you have to give CC info, perform a search and include "fraud" at the end. This is how I found this posting. If you have been a victim, please post your experience. No need to be embarrassed; these folk are highly skilled at reeling you in.

I can't find who is behind this. The owner of Google Pro Kit tends to hide his/her real identity. For cancellation, try this telephone number:

Thank you so very much for your honesty. I almost signed up for the kit but something just told me to search for Google Kit Scam and I came across your blog. You're a very rare individual with so many taking advantage of people everyday. You are blessed and highly favored.

I wasn't so lucky to save myself the $72.21. But here's the deal. I called the Customer Service 1-888-657-8585, told them to cancel my future billing. They gave me a cancellation confirmation number. I also called up my Credit card company and told them to dispute the charge. What I'm hoping to gain from this is to create a record with my card company, plus I have cancellation confirmation number. This is new info: I called CustServ repeatedly, and was very polite, I kept asking a way to get my money back ($72.21). They said return the kit (that I never got), they promised that they will ship another one out. When I get it, call back CustServ, get a Return Authorization number and ship it back. So I'm waiting for the kit to arrive. I also kept asking everyone I spoke at CustServ to make a note about my call. So now they have a clear history that the kit was shipped twice. I think and hope I might get my money back. Fingers crossed

  17. Alan Liew 12:52 PM

I think each credit card holder (Master or Visa) can go to their credit card company to request for a charge back.

I think you will be asked to fill out a form and the reason you request for the charge back.

Here are some of the reasons you can give:

Kit wasn't as it described in the sign up page. It can't help me make money online.

The kit never send to you (If you didn't receive).

The membership charge wasn't mentioned during the signing process.

You can provide the url to the sign up site as well.

i almost did buy the google pro kit but there was something fishy so i decided to look IF maybe it was a scam and i did find out that indeed it was too good to be true and the check man that's the best part because it is real but im pretty sure he didnt receive from the fake kit but by his website how smart and sssooo wrong ur blog was very helpful to me and many more thanxs for your honesty and dont feel bad because you were not aware of the scam but you did the right thing at the end!

Thank you so much for this info. You saved me I was just about to request the kit but I've decided to google it first :=)

  22. Anonymous 12:13 PM

i have a question, because i was about to sign up for the google pro kit. not that i believe in helping the scam neccessarily, and i respect your honesty and dignity, but.. if it takes $72 from you, but then pays you thousands, how is it at all ripping you off? its just 72 dollars less then your original profit. is it a monthly $72 charge? and also..how does the company make a profit that way?

  23. Anonymous 6:08 AM

mate you are a legend, i was literally one click away from signing up but decided to do a quick research and you opened my eyes.

    Thank You

  26. Laura G. 11:50 AM

Thank you for being such an honest person. I just ordered a similar kit- "Google Money System" for $1.95 but after I signed up,I found out about the monthly charge. I plan to call my bank first thing tomorrow and cancel the charge. I also plan to call the 1-800# to cancel directly and I also plan to send them a written letter to cancel. Hopefuly I will avoid the first monthly fee.
    THANKS AGAIN!!!

Thank you so much. After about 4 days my Kit was not in the mail. I even forgot what I was signed up for. Then I googled "google kit" and found your blog. I called to cancel the second I found the number on you site. I still don't have my kit but you saved me the money they would have charged.
I thank God you gave out this information. How can we stop this from happening to so many people.
    Thanks again Brian

  30. Anonymous 11:16 AM

Thank you for this great post! It was very helpful. I found something similar, "Google Start-Up Kit", though i didn't sign up i'm pretty sure this is just another scam. The ad got a "Hurry! Olny 56 spots left" and "Offer Expires in: 5:00", the 5 mins count down clock. The GOOGLE name really caught my attention but the count down clock kinda gave it away. Shouldn't trust anything with "limited offer" (ESPECIALLY after i left the 5 mins run out and open the ad again, the 5 mins was there again along with the 56 spots).

After i found the ad, i did a google search and found this blog :) Wish the world have more honest people like you.

  31. Anonymous 11:45 PM

If you had posted the fact that you would pay 72 dollars for the kit as opposed to 3.88 I don't think people would have viewed this as a scam, but since the people that promote this hide the fact that there is a charge after 7 days I think that's what puts them in the scam category. Sounds like a way to make money by selling these kits just as long as you're up front about all charges. Just my opinion

  32. Anonymous 2:15 AM

when i signed up for the Google kit.. I received in my e-mail 2 e-mails from a company called FreshKeywordIdeas and another one from iPlanFinancial. When a called the customer service to cancel my membership I received an e-mail from FreshKeywordIdeas, so today I had to call the other company to cancel the membership at iPlanFinancial so BE CAREFUL

Alright guys and gals, Today is April 16 2009 and I just got charged $72.21 from them today when I went to check my bank account.

I never received the kit and it's been well over 2 weeks, so I contacted customer service immediately at this number 1-888-657-8585 and the guy over the phone was really nice and I explained to him that I never received the kit and that I still got charged $72.21. The great news is that he went ahead and Issued a refund of $72.21 back to me(it'll take about 3-5 business days to get the refund in my bank account)and cancelled any future billings. He gave me a confirmation number and that was that.

LOL...He did of course say the $1.97 shipping charge was not refundable. I want to thank this blog for giving me the info I needed to get my money back and for also letting everyone be aware of the crazy scams that are out there today.

    Jimmy

Thank you for your honesty to save people from being scammed. IT is about time someone stood up and said the truth instead of hiding behind the lies that are permeating the internet these days.

Anytime I see an ad like the one for the kit, I always do a search with the name and scam and a question mark after the word scam.

Nine times out of ten, I find out a program is a scam or fraud. Needless to say, I don't end up in the soup with someone taking money out of our account that I didn't authorize.

In my search to find out whether they are legit or not I stumbled across your post. Thank you very much! Why are millions of people struggling with jobs they hate, losing jobs, houses and more if they could work 20 hours from home and make more money than the average joe? Seemed way too good to be true.

I am very glad that it is! A BIG FAT LIE.
Thanks, and sorry that you fell into their seemingly flawless trap.

  44. Google kit Exposed! 4:15 PM

Straight up these are scams. Don't even pay the shipping! They are huge scams that sell you something that is offered from google free! Learn how to read your terms and agreements and understand what you are authorizing! It could be anything they want. Check my mebsite out to learn more.

  45. Anonymous 1:34 AM

It's really horrible scam. I signed up from April 14th 2009, I didn't receive anything from them about google kit. I called them and they said it is just a link to the website, and they will extend my trial one more week, they said they will send email again, I have been waiting for another week, still nothing. I just called to day to cancel and ask them can I have 1.97 refund. They say no because that is post office charge to send a CD to me (but I did not receive any CD). I'm glad that it is just 1.97$. This is really scam. Everyone must be very careful.

  46. Anonymous 3:06 AM

Dude! you have no idea how much I appreciate this. Down to my last few bucks, and can't really afford to get double scammed. Thanks again

  47. Anonymous 3:10 AM

Thank you for your honesty. It was too late for me. I saw the ad on fb. Signed up on April 17th, because it said Google and Fox news etc - Stupid me! After reading about the scam, called the their office to cancel it the same day. They could not find my account so they could not cancel! April 20th received email from iplanfinancial.com with a cancellation number of the membership (for which I had not even signed up). Today my cc bill has a charge of US$1.97 for the kit that I have not yet received and US$72.96 + currency exchange rate (total $94.03). I called the phone number on my bill. The rep said the company was called Freshkeywordideas.com and he would credit my account (I did not sign up with them either so no idea how they got my visa number). This rep gave me a cancellation number. I have been updating my cc company since April 17th with all the details for their records to file a case. I have to watch if the credit comes thru. If not my cc will take action.

  48. Alan Liew 8:42 AM

    Hi,

If you didn't sign up. May be someone has used your Visa number. I think you may try to request a charge back.

  49. magnetic sponsoring 11:04 AM

This is horrible. How can these companies still do business on the internet when there are so many people who have complained?

Where do you go to report internet scams like that? that's why people are more skeptical than ever.

  50. Alan Liew 12:13 PM

A place to report scam is http://www.ripoffreport.com.

  51. Anonymous 12:01 AM

People are so dumb to signed up for something they barely know about.

But i guess scammers know exactly what they're doing by making a single plain page with just a few words on it such as.. "make $500 in one week" and idiots rush to sign up!

I don't think this is the first time we heard of the "internet". It's 2009 for god sake! Do some reasearching first.

  52. Alan Liew 9:16 AM

Google Pro Kit is set up to scam people.

People actually just curious about their make money online kit and don't mind to pay a couple of dollars to get the kit ship to them.

But, this horrible scam charges $72 after 7 days. Fortunately, many people know how to get out earlier.

I found they have stopped part of their marketing campaigns, probably the scam doesn't work well anymore as people started to stay away it and know how to cancel earlier.

  53. Anonymous 3:53 AM

How do i cancel this google kit scam???

  54. Anonymous 7:11 AM

    Why is Facebook advertising this????
No one has touched that subject!

I also fell for it and decided to check it out and found this page!

The joke will be on them I might not get my $1.97 back but the card I put it on is a pre-paid visa and I know there was only $3 or $4 dollars left on it! So they will try and charge me and won't be able to!!!

To all you people out there who has not got your money back yet this ones for you!!!!

Ok I just googled "google money making scam" as well and found this site. I was alerted to the problem when I checked my bank account and there were TWO questionable charges on my account yesterday. ( I didn't even go out of my house yesterday much less use my card!) I'm wondering if it has happened to me too...but the charges were $78.68 and 6.51...? I'm not sure. Has anyone else had those numbers come up? I defidently ordered some sort of "kit" (that never came) and it was supposed to help me make money using google. All if brought me to was another website explaining stuff and showing you how to set up your blog and use adsense. Help!

  56. Bobby Norrson 3:51 AM

    Thanks man,

I was going to order it. I just know to do a search to see if it was legit. This why real opportunities have such a hard time. Keep up the good work.

  59. Anonymous 6:40 PM

Does cancelling your credit card help at all. ???? Thanks

  60. Anonymous 10:23 AM

You did a great thing. I completely lost hope that there is a way to make money on the internet unless you are at the top of scam piramid, your own idea how to brainwash others. I got trapped with vacation scams, no rescission contract. Be aware and stay away from all this stink, like i.e. dreamworks vacation club. Thanks man for thinking about others who are ready to invest last money to improve bad family budget. How to change legislation that such jerks like guy running Google Pro Kit will be prosecuted?

  61. Alan Liew 10:25 AM

Canceling credit card should stop any future charge since the card will be destroyed and your credit card closed.

You might ask your credit card company.

    Thanks,
    Alan Liew

Why does Google let these people use their name? I just signed up for this and canceled in the same hour! The whole things was just a crappy site about how to better your finances.....no website builder no tips on building a money making machine...nothing. What a crock!

The Google Pro Kit is a big scam! The address to return the kit is in Draper, Utah which is Infusion Media's address and also in association with Thrive Learning Institute. They sold me on their Internet Education and Training Package with Personal Coaching. Really they wanted my money more than they wanted to train me or coach me. Their training E-library you can find all that info. on the web for free and the coaching was not anywhere near to what I was promised on the phone by the person who sold me on the package. I was scammed out of $6725.00. So I am doing my share of advertising for them now. The following website does an excellent job of advertising for them too as he was scammed out of a lot of money as well.
Check it out, you'll be glad you did. http:// www.stop-telemarketers.midwestjournalpress.com

  82. Anonymous 2:25 PM

It's a really big scam. I was initially charged $1.00 for a kit I never received and then I started incurring $79.00 per month charges, with random charges for $30 and $40 regularly. I don't know who these people are who say they're earning hundreds of dollars a day, but don't believe it. My charges were from a group called RDI.

first off you cant trust anybody. both of our vehicles got repoed and now this skim. we live penny by penny and now 72.21 was taken out of our account and my bank wont help me. that left us with less than 50 dollars for 2 weeks. you cant take care of two small children with that kind of money. being poor is not fun. please dont try the "google start up kit"

  85. Anonymous 3:51 AM

God Bless you. I have one question why not take this to the media to expose this sinister scam. I would be willing to help you. Or why not file suit against the company? please reply back

They've had more than hundreds of complaints & almost nothing is known about them...They might most likely have an ILLEGAL business

  90. Anonymous 6:37 AM

hi i was also caught out by this scam and i rang my bank to cancel my credit card and was informed that even if you cancel your credit card, they can still bill your new card as you have given your details and it will go on your new card also so you will need to send a stop payment order to your bank to cancel any futher payments going on your new card. best to contact your bank to make sure.

  91. Alan Liew 11:48 AM

    Hi,
Try to call 1888 248 9285 to cancel your subscription.

For getting your money back. There is an option for you if you are a credit card holder to charge back the transactions.

You can go to your bank or credit card company to request a charge back for your previous transactions if the transactions haven't over 6 months.

You might ask to fill out a charge back form and also the reason why you request charge back. Tell them this a scam. If you haven't received any kit from them, this is a good reason to tell. You might also include a letter describing how you sign up and get scam to support your reason of charge back.

    Hope these info will help.

    Thanks,
    Alan Liew

dude, you are the man. I had that exact same feeling as you did. I was just about to put my credit card in there when I thought,.... I should probably search on this just in case, only take a few mins anyway. So yours was the first hit I came across and thankfully you kept me from being scammed. Thanks man!

  93. Lisa 12:24 AM

Thank you so much for giving out this information. I'm sorry that you were a victim to the scam, but thankful that you thought of others. I just received a phone call, but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code. I searched Google for the area code and it directed me to the Google Pro Kit. I remember that I checked a box that asked me if I would be interested in working from home during a purchase a few days ago. It sounded too good to be true, so I googled the Google Pro Kit and saw your blog. Thank you again!

I almost signed up for it but it insists on Credit Card info so it wouldn't go through for me, the fact that you couldn't choose another payment method tipped me off before I did a search on it.

  97. Anonymous 1:49 AM

I had ordered the kit as well and when I saw a deduction of 90 some odd dollars that were coming out on a monthly basis i immediately called them and retracted. This is a scam they do not tell you what they will be to your credit card if you dont read carefully at the very bottom of terms and conditions in very very small print! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE

  98. Anonymous 1:18 AM

i read the terms and conditions-like i do on everything before i sign up, like everyone else should before they sign up. all the scam crap is clearly listed there.

  99. Anonymous 10:16 PM

Thank you so much for your blog!! I signed up for it and paid the $3.00 for shipping today at 9:30am. Then I did research after and read all the blogs that it was a scam!! I went back and cancelled it today at 10:15am. Thank you letting me know about the monthly charge! I'm glad I cancelled within the 7 days!

You saved me a lot of money and frustration! Thanks!!

  100. Anonymous 12:05 AM

Thank you for being an honest & caring human being. I was also going to sign up , but did some investigation & found your blog. It is shameful how some people have no sense of decency & thrive on others in need. Thanks again for taking a stand against dishonesty.

  101. Anonymous 4:56 PM

Well I did get duped. My issue was the fact that I didn't know it was a 7 day trial and when I realized that they took out 79.90 plus two ICBA fees that brought the total to 80.58 which actually put me in the negative with my bank account I called and the representative said that it was in the terms and conditions....when I finally did find the tiny link at the bottom of the page the terms stated $77.00.
    HERES MY QUESTION
Even if I had been aware of the terms and conditions wouldn't taking out more than the initial terms be....illegal?????

  102. Drew 12:57 AM

Yeah its a scam, i am one of those people who bought the shiping and handleing, then was charged $98.04 and was never told about it, if anyone who has been charged got there money back please let me know how!

  103. Susan 3:36 AM

OMG!!! I tried to sign up before I read your blog!!! It kept telling me that I wasn't approved and transferred me to another place (Jackpot something) and that one had a $3.88 charge that kept telling me there was a problem with my card. Then I sit and read your blog and try to call the 800 number to cancel if needed, make sure it DIDN'T go through and the "operator is not available" is all keep getting!!! What can I do? I've lost my job and cannot afford the charges everyone is talking about. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?????????????

  104. Alan Liew 10:59 AM

    Hi Susan,

Have you tried calling 188 248 9285 to cancel the subscription?

If you have canceled, there will be not charges anymore except the small shipping charge.

I am always skeptical about the work at home stuff. I am desperate and was just about to put my card # in and for some reason I decided to search more deeply. The tip off was that the site did not look the same as before and the price was different. Thanks for being so honest. You will be rewarded for this. When something really good happens for/to you don't forget this deed you did for millions of people my friend. God Bless

  108. Anonymous 12:40 AM

Very helpful info. I knew there is something fishy about it. Thanks for people like you who do the research and share it with all of us.

Keep it up!!! Your blessings in return will be doubled.

  109. Anonymous 11:35 AM

Hm. Was looking into it myself and came across this. When I had asked the customer service rep who called me about it to provide me with a "sample web site" of someone who has successfully used this kit, he laughed and said No. Big red flag! Be sure to do your research before buying and ask ask ask the obvious questions....

  110. Anonymous 3:55 PM

There were some discrepancies and very dubious things that just didn't make sense about their posting. I did a bit of research, and your post was one that came up. They asked for a credit card number, and not a full address. Just how suspicious is that?!

  111. Anonymous 7:08 AM

someone contacted me through craigslist about it. i was kinda "iffy". good thing i googled the "google kit". thank u man.

  112. Anonymous 2:15 AM

WOW....in this day and time people are so desperate to make a little money anyway they can.
I almost sent for the google starter kit. I checked out this site and read some of the blogs.
Aren't there laws against this time of scamming? Isn't there anything that people can do to have these "scammers" arrested, bring charges against them, and have them thrown in jail????
I don't see how they can get away with this.
I am poor, homeless, jobless, and was so so close to ordering the kit.
Thank you ALL for your input.

    Hi,

I just checked and my credit card was charged AUD$98. I can remember reading about the Google Kit once I was surfing the web but I can't remember giving my credit card details. The narrative on my credit card statement says debit was made by GOOGLE PROFIT CLUB. I am not even sure if this was the same company this blog is referring to. I am in Australia. Is there any number or any contact details I can use. I already lodged a dispute with my bank but I have advised that future charges if there are any will still continue to be debited. Please help. AUD$98 a month to be taken of my account makes such a difference. I desperately need help.

  116. Anonymous 4:58 AM

I did buy this 3 days ago. It also signed me up for bloggers toolkit. I got an email saying sign up for ebay too. I replyed back saying I never got the google download and got no reply. Came across your page and called the number to cancel. No one answered. I gave a debt card number to a second account I have. Not wanting to get charged the $80 and not being able to cancel I called the bank and cancelled the card. In my case it was the only way. I have seen alot of scams, but nothing like this that is an out right BS scam. Thanks for the info, you saved me 80 bucks and probably a whole lot of other people.

  117. niyabriz 8:55 AM

I signed up and paid the 1.95 and then researched the product. Realizing it was a scam immediately thereafter (within 5 minutes of signing up), I called the two numbers that were provided to me: 1-888-673-3212 or (866) 311-7023. There was no answer after waiting 5 minutes to be redirected. I called my credit card company and asked them to put a note that I will dispute all future charges from the "MoneyMaker". They informed me to document all emails and phone calls, so it can be properly investigated and successfully disputed.

  118. Lisa S 11:02 PM

I live by the saying, "If it's too good to be true it probably is." So any time I see something like the Google Pro Kit, I am interested but at the same time I do research before I get signed up for it. Thanks for posting the truth, I really appreciate it.

  119. Michelle 1:51 AM

I found $79.90 was taken out of my account last week. After some researching, found my money went from Google kit to YourWebsiteRev out of Utah, than to Profit Studio Learning out of Utah. The number on my account was wrong, than found the real number when i typed www.yourwebsiterev.com I told the girl nothing about any of this was mentioned (money wise) so now I'm writing to Profit and also going to write to someone from BBB about the whole situation. Not sure if they can give me my money back.

  120. Philip 1:53 AM

thanks you for exposing this SCAM! I almost fell for it. I even commented the person who posted the link as to where is the google money kit? why if i click the link you ask, free ecards will appear? so i researched and came upon your blog. Hi Philip,

Good to hear that you didn't sign up the scam.

I felt wrong when I found I was promoting a scam, so I came up this post immediately after I found it was scam.

I hope most of you have canceled the program successfully and got your money back. If anyone of you requested a charge back from your credit card company and got your money back successful. I would appreciate if you can post a comment here and share your stories. Your comment would probably help others know how to get their money back.

    Thanks,

THanks for saving my butt Alan, This guy Michael is using craigslist to spam people into thier google scam. i am going to report it to craiglist's fraud division right now!!! I hate people who prey on folks who are vulnerable :( I personally do work from home, from a long and trusted company - avon, so i dont make millions, but i can work from home, and now they let you have an internet avon site to sell, so i dont have to deliver books, its easy and it was only 20 bucks to get started!! Thank you for blogging this. People really need to be informed.

I fell for a something about 10 years ago. Only paid $15 but it promised that I could make tons of money from home. I got a disk mailed to me with instructions and there was a list of companies that I could apply for...many didn't even exist, the others were not hiring and had no clue their names were being sold. The last line on the DOC was if all else fails sell this info online to make money. No way I would ever ripoff someone the way I was ripped off. People who prey on others are nothing but scum!

I received an email from an individual about this "kit" and immediately thought that it was some sort of scam so I searched it on google. I came across your blog and I have to tell you sir that I am amazingly impressed. You are a rare individual and we need more people like us in the world. Keep up the honesty sir it will pay off in the long run, nobody needs to rip off and steal from other people no matter what even if you can make thousands. I have the utmost respect for you and have bookmarked your page just to check out in the future.

  138. cutecherry 3:01 AM

What is crazy is they have a story online about real people having success with this program, it looks like a real article. It leads you to believe all is well and you somewhat let your guard down. I am a teller and was sitting at work on my lunch browsing through news articles. An article about the Goolge Kit came up and i became interested. I clicked the link and filled in my name and phone number but when it got to the credit card information, I decided to click out and do a little more research. Working as a teller I see a lot of distressed people coming in trying to fix their account because of mess like this. I guess with things the way they are, jobs being hard to find, people are searching for ways to make extra money. I am glad you researched this and blogged it because it made my search much easier. Your helping people keep what little money they have worked hard for.

  139. Anonymous 1:01 PM

Thank you so much for posting this online so as to create awareness of this scam. I was sceptical about the whole thing and it seems too good to be true so I did a "google check". You're a great guy - if only half the world is as honest as you! Thank you once again!

  140. Anonymous 9:15 AM

i agree! I just signed up today, and i checked it out and all. i found it was waaaayyyy confusing and difficult! they expect you to post ad links on random sites, and then supposedly people will click on them and order the product. the only problem is where are you gonna post those links? basically, they try to "help" you with ideas on where to post the links, but really it's quite confusing and complicated, so unless your a very logical person with a mind for marketing, then your probably gonna be VERY DISAPPOINTED. On top of that, it took me 15 minutes to actually talk to a rep to cancel! And, i had to persist to cancel! I mean, I know there probably forced to persist and all, but omgeee it is a hassle!!!

  141. Anonymous 1:53 PM

Thank you so much! I too almost fell for this scam and i did my due diligence and found your comments. Thanks again!

I too started to sign up luckily was too lazy to get my cc. Decided to google the SCAMERS and found your site!

I haven't had time to look into your blogs- but I absolutely will!

God Bless and from the bottom of my heart - thanks for keeping me for making another bad decision...hey - I made a good decision by reading your blog! ha - take it easy!

  143. Anonymous 10:14 AM

Unfortunately, I didn't check the scam and I signed up google kid and profit.
    How do I cancel them?

  144. Anonymous 9:37 PM

If you have already charged your card I would call your bank and have them cancel that specific card and order a new one. From what my bank told me that will stop any future charges. It is a bit of a pain but far less painful than losing 80 or however much money they'll get you for.

i just found out this scam programme and try to google it first before joining and i found your blog.. thanks for the info bro but if you believe this is a scam than how come you put not one but TWO advertisement about this scam in your blog?? im so curios man..

  151. Alan Liew 8:49 AM

    Hi Wilma,

Thanks for letting me know about it. They were two of my old advertisers. I've stopped placing their ads last time but then they said they want to advertise other links which are not scam.

I checked the links. They are OK. But then after you informed me, it seems that they have changed the landing pages for the links of the banner ads. They are clever.

I'll not renew their ads after expired for sure. But, I'll tried to see if it is possible to take down their ads earlier.

I just want to let everyone know that I just checked out the site pertaining to this "Google Pro Kit" scam, where thy try to sell it to me. At the top of the page there is a very large paragraph that states you will be charged with the $1 and change initially, $60 and change 7 days thereafter and monthly from then on, and then another nine dollars a month on top of it> so please everyone< read everything first before you all decide to bash it>

  153. Anonymous 11:28 AM

I have been caught by buying the kit to study, then they blocked my access to decline the additional monthly info, costing me in over $80. a month. No kit arrive either.Credit card company say they cant stop the withdrawals.

    a few things:

its nice to see someone post about this scam.

dont take this personal, but if you bought into this load of crap of a scam...your an idiot. wanna get rich quick? i have some swampland in florida and a nice big bridge in new york that i will sell to you for only 50¢.

contact your credit card companies tell them to cancell the charges and refund your money or you will cancell the card and go to another credit card company for your business.

contact google let them know about the scam. by useing the google name they have opened a nice lawsuit for copyright infringement, possibly loss of income due to the bad press

i wouldnt be surprised if anyone living in the same city as this company(someone posted the address allready)that was scammed by them...decided to pay them a visit armed with more then a credit card(if you know what i mean). personally if you ripped me off for $72. i would make your life miserable, i can hold a grudge and i enjoy dishing out revenge and payback, it can be so much fun.

    have a nice day!

  155. Anonymous 9:43 AM

I read an article in the CNN paper about a local man and his wife that joined after losing their jobs. I thought this would be a good way for me to stop commuting 4 hours a day and stay home. Once I read the small print about the charges. I thought it be best, to research their name for online scam. Voila! I was right. Thank you for your blog.

  156. Anonymous 10:32 AM

I believe that you still have a "google business"" advertised on your page that is a scam. Kevin Hoeffer is claiming to make money through the "google start up kit" and at the bottom of his page he has comments on there from people who supposedly have been successful. There is a picture of a "Maria" with her check on there, but the same picture is also on lindashelpblog.com with the name of "Kathy Halkedor". Looks like a scam to me!

  157. Anonymous 7:27 AM

What a bunch of slim balls. The Google Pro Kit is a scam. After you enter you CC the page changes and you are IN for the count.
Next page sets you up for the fall next thing you know you are signed up for Life Lock at $10.00 a month.

Just another group of internet thieves. I sent the link to our Attorney General In Virginia.

  158. Anonymous 12:16 PM

I called my CC company two days after I get charged $1.98 and canceled my CC #, just in a case they try to charge me even after I had call them and received my cancelation #, thanks for your post, and I hope I had finally learned my lesson:)

  159. dhilip 11:40 PM

Thank you friend,i also thought to earn money from this google pro kit, in that time i read your blog, thank you very much.

i am going to copy your post and paste in my blog to help others.

1-888-299-7715 is the phone number to call to cancel the account/order/service

Please do it in one day trial/some may ads for 7 days trial

  161. Pauly Vengeance 9:15 PM

Signed up for this yesterday, completly unaware of the $72.71 charge (as i'm in the UK, this would have only been about £45, but thats not the point).
Of course, they don't tell you about this until it's too late, and you've entered your card details and address etc.

Fortunately, i made note of the fact that it was a 7-day free trial. So, i signed up yesterday at 5:43PM, and cancelled this morning at 9:00am.

Just want to take a second to agree with everyone on how kind, honest and genuine the blog-writer is. Thankyou sir, you may have just saved me from 1000's of punds of debt.

Hey thanks...do any of the "work at home programs" work? I have done some research and its the expensive ones that seem to work however when i searched to see if those were scams on some blogs it showed they were but on others it was stated that they were not scams, so i do not know who to trust? And i need a job, but i dont have much time so i wanted to get one that i can do at my own pace

  163. Wynette 3:09 AM

Thank you so much, I was going to order this myself until i read this, but thank god i came across your Blog. Thanks for the honsety, Wynette

  164. Big Dummy 9:51 PM

I signed up, THEN researched it like a big dummy!! I did infact read the fine print and new after 15 days I'd get charged $70 a month, but I figured I'd try and see if I'd make enough from it to cover that and make money. But after reading this stuff I just cancelled the debit card...Thanks to all of you for informing the big dummies like me out there, lol!

  165. Anonymous 2:04 PM

I think this blog is a nice concrete example of how many people you've helped by opting not to be part of a program that is essentially theft. Thank you from me and from everyone else.

  166. Anonymous 9:29 AM

glad I came across this..I was just telling my sisters we should try it

SUGGESTION: Ask for a POSTAL TRACKING number for the "kit" they are sending. If they can't provide a tracking number .... you're not getting anything. If they do, photo/xerox the package mailing information. This can be used for a trace and/or evidence of possible fraud. Providing you can identify who or what corporation is behind this scam, you could claim Fraud and misrepresentation as a legal action. In addition, since they've used the Postal Service to perpetuate their actions, it is a Federal offense. Therefore, you have a legal right to sue these scammers (possible class action or individual). Although, their web registration is in Nevada (USA), they could be operating from other countries like Romania, Nigeria, Russia, or Israel...etc. If this is the case, it will make it almost impossible to follow a legal course of action. Also, you can report them to your state's Postal Master and to your state's attorney general. Then, you may see some action or investigation concerning these entities. Hope this helps.

  168. Alan Liew 9:47 AM

That were good information about taking legal action on these scam program.

    Thanks,

hey thanks for the info, i actually did get scammed by those people. i tried to work on their product but its such a terrible one. and as you said in two days i got charged a load. thanks for the info man

  171. Anonymous 4:53 AM

Thank you very much for taking the time to share with others the terrbile experience you've encountered.

I was online at www.nba.com and noticed a pop up about a google kit which interested me. I read through the article and like most people, was intrigued by the amount of money that could be made. I filled out my address information and was thinking of heading out to my car to get my credit card when I decided to read the terms and conditions. In fine print, the initial $1.99 for a 3 day trial was not so appealing. After the 3 days, $70 would be charged to your credit card along with a one time fee of $140. I decided to leave my credit card in the car.

Sites like these help others from being taken for and I have the upmost respect for people like yourself, that have integrity. Thank you.

    Affiliate Marketing On The Internet

Affiliate Marketing is a performance based sales technique used by companies to expand their reach into the internet at low costs. This commission based program allows affiliate marketers to place ads on their websites or other advertising efforts such as email distribution in exchange for payment of a small commission when a sale results.

If you really did find a working formula that made you, say $1,000 a week online on average and it kept producing income no matter what, would you want to sell that idea to a bunch of noobs for $47 a pop and expect to retire on the proceeds? No way, man! It does not compute. It does not add up. And it does not make any sense to do that. I certainly don’t go shouting from the rooftops how I make my money online. Hell, I don’t want the competition taking a slice of my pie and neither would anyone who really does make good cash online.

I really appreciate your honesty and conscientious mind. Even myself was about to sign up for the program due to financial circumstances. But i guess i changed my mind. :)

At the very least, 99.85% of all offers out there are scams. Look back in history during the 1st depression and you will find tons of scams. Because of the lack of the internet back then, records weren't as accurate as they are now.Been there, checked them ALL. Sincerely, King of the Scam Busters.

You have done more good then harm! I had a bad feeling about the Google pro kit, and decided to check for any info like what you have provided. Thanks!

    Hi,

I lost only one $. I could not even log in their account. I started calling them from day one they were not available. So I have reported this as a scam to the credit card and with great difficulty convinced them this is a scam..now they cant loot any one...

  179. Anonymous 10:19 AM

wow. thanks for letting everyone know the truth about this. these "too-good-to-be-true", "get-rich-quick" scams are so easy to fall for sometimes, especially in tough economic times. but it's good to know someone is above the influence of such schemes, and willing to point it out... mad props and respect.
