Another smart way of going about this is offering a trial membership for the first month and bill the members from the second month onwards at your normal price. This is a fantastic way of ensuring you get lots of members. Once they are in and you make sure you provide great content, they will want to stay. Niche marketing is one of the most powerful marketing forms existent on the internet today. To be able to take advantage of it, it is important to understand what niche marketing is.

Niche is nothing but people who are interested in the same thing. Some may be interested in Golf while some others in Fly-fishing. Here Golf and Fly-fishing are niches. Niche marketing is a conception of getting involved in an area of marketing that interests you and making money from it. It also means targeting and attracting those groups of people that belong to your niche and making money selling them products. The idea is to find a niche that isn’t too populated. It takes a great deal of research to be able to find the market that has a lot of demand and yet less competition.

Finding a niche
First thing that needs to be done is finding a product. Before deciding upon a product or service that interests you, a ton of research needs to be done. There are so many niches on the internet, that it is certainly no mean task to find a good niche. So, picking a niche with little competition is the hardest part, but once you find it, things get easier.

Keyword research
After finding a niche, you will have to do some research and come up with keywords for that niche. There are several tools that suggest good keywords and keyword phrases. Never target a wide niche like Golf, always target sub niches like “Golf Balls”. Look for keywords that are in demand and have less competition. The reason for not wanting to target wide niches is because of the heavy competition and if you are new, you may not even stand a chance against the big wigs up there. Anyway, why would you want to take the difficult route when there is an easy way out?

Keyword rich domain
Once you settle on the niche, next step is to check if there is a keyword rich domain name available. Many people don’t think this is important, but having a domain with your keywords helps in the search engine ranking, thus sending heavy traffic your way, resulting in more sales, and finally our goal of more money.

You will then need to tackle this ‘Golf balls’ niche you have chosen. You will have to have a website. Nowadays, with all the free templates out there, creating a website is no big deal. There are several ways this can be done. You can take the adsense route, go with the affiliate products, use PLR products, or create your own product.

Adsense: You can add adsense blobs to your website and earn a little money, but the money adsense brings in isn’t really much and not worth it in my opinion, if you are looking at the bigger picture.

Affiliate products: Having affiliate products related to your niche on your website is a great way of making money. Go to Clickbank and you will find many products. Look for the ones related to Golf balls, either Golf ball sets or ebooks on the latest golf balls or old ones. I suggest ebooks as they sell better, being digital in nature. Check for the products that are popular and pay at least 50% commission. Try and get more than two products and have them on your website. Another option is to buy PLR products and sell them on your website. You don’t have to write your own ebooks. Having said that, although it is not essential, there is nothing that can match your own product.

Submitting the website
Although, this point does not need to be mentioned, you need to submit your website to the search engines once it is ready.

Website promotion
The crucial thing to any marketing is advertising. Having the greatest site on earth is not going to help one bit, if there is no promotional plan. How will people know that your site even exists or that you have this product up for sale?

There are several methods of advertising. This in itself is another topic for research. There is Adwords or article marketing, and many other ways. If you have no experience with Adwords, stay away from it in the beginning until you learn the pros and cons of Adwords, and until after you have made some money on your website using free methods like article marketing. You need to spend money for Adwords and if you are not experienced, you may end up losing a lot of money. You wouldn’t want that in the beginning.

Write articles and submit them to article directories, like ezine articles and go articles, and make sure you give a link back to your website in the bio box of your article. Submit at least one per week. This way you will have many articles rotating and this increases the chance of attracting more traffic.

You can also join forums and make sensible posts with your link in the signature line. Don’t do blatant advertising in the forums, that will only attract negativity and some forums may even ban you. The main thing about forums is building trust and in the long run this form of advertising works wonders.

I find that videos that show how to solve a problem are more successful than video products that try to impress people only. You don’t need to too concentrate on trying to be looking good. Be natural, be yourself, and show people how you solved a problem in your own life. Then help your viewers by giving tips for applying these lessons to their lives.

Focus on action. Always think about action-about what you want your audience to do. Then build your video around that action. As the Roman statesman Cato said, "Find the message first and the words will follow."

Best day and time for email campaign
Surprising but true. The success of your email campaign also depends on the day you send it out. Let me begin with giving you the worst days of the week that you should NOT send out your email campaigns. Saturday and Sunday. Statistics show that on those two days, emails hardly get opened. Back to the main question of when to send. The best day is said to be Tuesday, next comes Wednesday, and may be even Thursday.

Is there a best time too? Sure, there is. It should be either in the early morning or late evening. This is because people check their mails as soon as they get to work. Late evenings may be because people check again before leaving work or after getting back home. Makes sense right? Most people after dinner are either watching American Idol or spending family time together. Computer is not where they want to be.

Spam and Filters
Never ever send unsolicited email to anyone. This is the most important tip of email marketing. Send emails to people who have opted in through your autoresponder and want you to send them information.

Even if you do not have any intention of spamming people and send emails to only those that have opted-in, your emails may not be delivered due to spam filters used by most ISPs. Since these filters do not know if yours is a spam mail or not, they basically check the word you use in the subject line and in your emails. These filters make mistakes with words and brand yours as spam. There are several free sites that will check the email for spam and score it. If the score is below 2 is safest, and between 2 and 5 is borderline and above 5 is considered to be spam.

This world is full of jungles and I would say the biggest of them is eBay. eBay is probably the most famous auction giant than any other in the world. Everybody, young and old wants to sell and earn money here. However, you will be able to tackle this monster only if you understand how it works. We are not going to talk about what to sell as that in itself calls for a whole new article, we are going to talk about the dos and don’ts of eBay.

First, there are things you need to do before selling.

Creating your account at EBay and Paypal
The first thing that needs to be done is creating an account in eBay by registering on their site. You will then need to open an account with ‘Paypal’, if you don’t have one. Many people that buy on eBay prefer to pay by Paypal.

Digital camera
If you are planning on taking this seriously, you will need an excellent digital camera. This is required because you will be including pictures of your products along with the ads. Photos provide a confirmation to your buyer as to what you are selling and in what condition. Remember the old adage, ’Seeing is Believing”? There is no ‘if’, you will need a camera.

Next step is finding something to sell. Once that is done, you will have to set up an auction.

How to set up your first auction
Once you have decided on what you are going to sell, click ‘sell’ and you are on your way. Choosing a category for the item is important, but then eBay helps you with this too. You will need to type the item name and eBay will suggest which category it belongs to.

Writing the title and description for the item comes next. Including keywords in the title that people use to search is very important. The rest of the information about your product goes into the description. Then set a starting price. People will be more attracted to your product if the setting price of your product is 1 cent. You don’t have to worry on that front because most articles are sold at much higher. You may set up the duration of the bid, depending on the options given, because the longer the auction, the more bids you get.

Adding a picture is important, because products with pictures sell more. Select the payment method to ‘paypal’ since you already set it up. Submit and watch eBay do the magic. Some buyers may send emails with questions, make sure to answer them all. If for some reason your article doesn’t sell the first time, you don’t have to worry, eBay lets you list it again ‘free’ of charge. Once you find a winning bidder, eBay does all the work for you, like sending the buyer emails and guiding them to send you payment. Pack and send the item only after receiving the money. You will find the buyer’s address in the sale confirmation email sent by eBay.

Importance of Web Video
Another great way of attracting people and one that has proven to be successful, is adding an interactive video. They say that a picture is worth 1000 words, then imagine what a video can do. Create a video of your product and tell people about its special features. Give the basic details of where it was made and also make sure to point out any defects too. Viewers will appreciate honesty and it helps with the trust factor. Then it’s time to create a video player to put in your auction. You will find many that can be modified and used.

Market your presence
Contrary to the popular belief that people will come automatically, you will have to build a presence in order to have success on eBay. How do you build a presence? This is not done overnight, it takes a lot of sales with positive feedback to establish your presence. The key is to take your time and do things the right way and provide quality.

o Weapons: Weapons of destruction.
o Animal products: Products made out of animal skin.
o Tickets.
o Catalogues that contain listing of products.
o Prizes cannot be announced or given for anything.

There is no doubt that Clickbank is one of the more popular affiliate networks on the internet. That is the reason there are so many affiliates for Clickbank. If you are interested in becoming a Clickbank affiliate, there are things that you need to know, so that you don’t end up scratching the head wondering why things are not going as expected.

Understanding Clickbank

Understanding these stats is a crucial step in being able to successfully choose a product to promote.

Dollar per sale shows us how much an affiliate can make per sale. This is the commission given by the owner to affiliates for promoting their product. Keep a look out for products that pay the maximum dollars per sale.

Percent referred is the percentage of sales that are made by all the affiliates for that product put together. If this stat shows above 80%, it means that most of the sales for this product come from affiliates, which means, you will have loads of competition for this product and that’s not what we want. Where do you stand a chance if all the high-flying more experienced affiliate marketers are selling the same product?

Percent per sale is the percentage given to an affiliate for each sale. You should be looking for something above 50% for each sale. Of course, there are products that pay something like 75% or even more. You will find that these higher paying products have so much competition that it would be very difficult initially to break into that.

Gravity is the stat that you can gauge your competition with. This gives you an approximate indication of the number of affiliates promoting a product. For less competition, look for a product with below 20 gravity. Is that confusing? I suggest you put all the stats together and see what you need to look for. Don’t believe anyone telling you that such products are non-existent, because there are such products; you only have to find them.

Google Adwords
After finding the products, you need to advertise the product to generate sales. This is where Google Adwords comes in.

For better user experience, Google made its campaigns strict and unless you do everything exactly the way Google wants you to, your Adwords campaign could lose you a lot of money in terms of spending more on keywords. So many affiliate marketers make the mistake of using the ad provided by the affiliate product owner. It is preferred that you make your own ad. People switch off seeing the same headline and ad over and over again. You want to make your ad look interesting enough for people to click on it. Learn all about long-tail keywords and implement that tactic when advertising on Adwords.

In your Adwords ad, make sure you never send people to the affiliate product owner’s sales page directly. Google is totally against using affiliate URLs in ads. Send people to either your website or a sales page. It doesn’t have to be long. Just talk about the product you are promoting and then direct them from there to the affiliate page. This makes the whole process look more personal and it is seen that more sales are made this way.

Unique Webpages
As I said above, send people to your webpages. To promote each affiliate product you are marketing, use separate web pages. It is very convenient to dump them all together just to save money on the web hosting, but it sure is not very effective. Imagine, having a webpage, the sole focus of which is one affiliate product. That has a better impact on the buyer.

Product reviews should be included to give the visitors a better understanding of the product and how it can help those that buy it. Adding testimonials from users that have already tried the product will help. Write articles with highlights of the product in an additional page on your webpage. It goes without saying that your webpages should be extremely attractive.

Free reports
Offer a free report to your visitors; making sure it is strategically placed at the top of the page, so that it is not missed. Get their personal info through an opt-in form in return for the free report. Creating autoresponder messages to mail, helps as a reminder for them to look at the affiliate product. Research shows that a sale is usually closed on the seventh visit. Never ever make your page look like a sales pitch.

Targeted traffic
Just think of it this way, if the visitor has no interest in what you are promoting, they will never come back to your site. Write plenty of articles and publish them in e-zines and e-reports. Use only publications that are focusing on your niche. Write at least a couple of articles of 300-500 words per week. By consistently writing and publishing them, believe me, it is possible to get around 100-targeted visitors to your site in one day. The average sale is made with a ratio of 1:100, one buyer for every hundred visitors. I am sure, by now you have a fair idea of the number of sales you could make if you are looking at 1000-targeted visitors to your site.

Surviving as a Clickbank affiliate is not too difficult with the above tactics. If you follow them, with a little time and effort, you can achieve the super affiliate status.

It is important for you to know and understand that a successful and profitable online business need 4 things.

You need to get these 4 things right to make money with an online business.

1. Your Product
You need to have a product that people want to buy. Generally, there are 3 types of products people want to buy:

Products that satisfy a need of people
Products that solve a problem
Products that provide certain value to people

So getting more sales from your existing loyal customers are very possible if your have other quality products that satisfy their other need.

A good back-end system will surely make your profit grow.

For those of you that are interested in diving into the private label rights (PLR) business, you will need to know a few things in order to take the private label beast on. Private label rights can prove to be extremely profitable or they can just be dead text if you don’t know how to handle them. Let's take a look how private label rights can help you make money online.

Creating Your Own PLR Report
First things first. Do some research and see what others are doing and what are the PLR products that are available in the market. Once you are done with your research, you have two options; either to go ahead and create a product similar to all those other products out there or to try and be different and think of something original. Be creative and you may come up with something that will earn you big money. Take your time and make sure what you are creating looks good with a great eBook cover and give good info.

Next step is to market it. The best way is to have affiliate links inside and give it away for free. This sounds weird but makes sense. Look at it this way. You will be able to get so many of them out there when compared to selling them. Your income will be from the affiliate links. On the other hand, if you decide to sell the product, make is reasonably priced. Include a rights file with the package.

PLR and affiliate program
You have your product ready with PLR articles and you have your sales page ready. You are ready to sell your product and make money. Isn’t it a good idea to have more people sell your product, than just one person? Set up an account at Clickbank or some other affiliate program.

All the people that come to your sales page will not end up buying your product. You must ensure you have an opt-in box to collect their information. Follow up with them and after a couple of times, you can inform them about the affiliate program and tell them they can make money from it. This will only multiply the amount of traffic and sales you get. Let me tell you, having affiliates makes a HUGE difference.

Ebay and PLR
This is pretty simple. All you need to do is create a good report with the PLR reports you have and sell it on eBay. You can either sell the report to earn income or even sell the report at a very low price just to be able to build a list.

Once you have a list, create lots of PLR reports out of the PLR material you have and sell them to your list.

PLR and Membership Sites
Membership sites are a great way to earn. You can start your very own PLR site. Take some of the PLR articles you have and make an audio eBook with them. Make sure you are getting PLR articles from various niches every month. Make at least 5 or 6 audio eBooks and put them up on your site. Have a lot of PLR reports every month too. If you are running out of content, you can get some made at very reasonable rates and add it to your membership site. Having good PLR content will increase the number of signups you get in a month. All you need to do is ensure that the membership site is updated each month with fresh PLR.

PLR and Videos
Creating videos is very simple these days. Imagine the potential of creating videos from PLR eBooks. Showing what is told in the eBook in video form is a great way to attract people. You can put it up on your site or sell it. There are several things you can do with it. All you need to do is get someone to read the eBook and show images of what needs to be done.

Selling site with PLR eBooks
Create a website and have some PLR converted into eBooks and put them up on the website. Then sell the website along with these PLR eBooks, one or two of them should be sufficient. You will be able to earn good money as you already have some eBooks for sale on the site.

PLR and Blogs
Create blogs and take some PLR eBooks and break them down to several blog posts. Post them to the blog frequently and add adsense, affiliate programs etc on the blog.
